Comparison with the Competitors
The Littmann Stethoscope is better than Erka because it has a bell that can be easily heard. It also gives you a better sound to hear. It is also more comfortable to hear because of the material that the chest piece is made of. And lastly, the user can use it for longer periods without getting tired or feeling pain in their ears from holding it for too long.
I had a hard time deciding which stethoscope to buy when looking for a new one. My old one was an Erka, which was old and starting to break down. The Littmann stethoscope is one of the most widely used stethoscopes in the world. It has many features that make it better than other stethoscopes available today. For example, this model has flexible tubing that allows you to get closer to your patient.
Littmann is superior because of another great feature of this model: its ability to be used as both an earpiece and an amplifier simultaneously. This means that you can listen closely without holding your breath or suffering from poor sound quality because your ears are too close together when using traditional stethoscopes.
Littmann Stethoscope has a wide range of use; it is suitable for all types of listening and observing, such as general observation, neurology, respiratory, pediatric, and anesthesia. Erka stethoscopes are not suitable for public observation and respiratory listening because they are narrow-banded. The sound quality is much better than Erka.
One thing I did not like about the erka was that it was so sensitive that it made my ears hurt after just a few minutes of use. This problem has been fixed by putting a softer cork back on the diaphragm, preventing it from moving around so much when you put pressure on it with your hands or breathe in with your mouth open.
