My parcel has just arrived and without wasting any minute I am going to unbox it. The thing I liked the most about Littmann’s products is their appreciable delivery services and extraordinary packing skills. I am pretty impressed by their fascinating and well organized packaging. The overall presentation of the box is impactful and exceptional.

Now the time was waiting has come to an end as I am going to open the box to check the product I ordered. I am quite hopeful that the stethoscope will be up to my expectations. Along with the stethoscope I have also ordered an attractive beautiful stethoscope hard case for storing and securing the stethoscope. The case requires extra charges which is a bit unfair but overall it gives the product an enchanting touch. The stethoscope also comes with a warranty of 7 years.

The shade and tone of the color is fine it  neither  bright nor too dull. The stethoscope has a black finish which further enhances the its decency. The color is quite appealing and the design of the stethoscope is remarkable. The tubing of the stethoscope is made up of good quality material. The tube is flexible and easy bendable. It is quite hollow and wide and is perfect for sound transmission. The tube has a dual lumen which is essential and advantageous for the conduction of sound in two pathways.

The most significant component of a stethoscope is diaphragm. The diaphragm of this stethoscope is of high quality. The membrane of the diaphragm is considerably tensed. The diaphragm is easily adjustable and can be tuned to determine and analyze different frequencies sounds.  For auscultating heart sounds the diaphragm should be sensitive enough to interpret sounds of different frequencies.

I have previously worked with Heine stethoscope. The quality of the stethoscope was fine but not excellent as Littmann’s stethoscopes. The features available in a Littmann stethoscope are useful and outstanding which are absent in the stethoscopes of other brands. For easy interpretation of heart sounds that would aid in diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disorders Littmann cardiology stethoscope is the best choice.
